Taekwondo players from Assam shine at Online Taekwondo Poomsae Championship

Taekwondo players from Assam have brought laurels to the state by clinching medals at Online Open National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship Organized by India Taekwondo.

With the aim to encourage the players during this pandemic hit situation, India Taekwondo organized the competition. More than 2000 Athletes from all over India have participated in the competition.

18 players from Assam who are students of city based Coaching centre namely Jeonsa Taekwondo Dojang also participated in the competition. A total of Eight participants have won medals in their respective category.

In Kids 1 Colour Belt Female category Sanjana Devi and Kavya Krishita Borah got Gold and Silver respectively. In Kids 2 Color Belt Female category Violina MB Bhuyan received the Bronze.

Another participant Senjam Mahek Devi got Bronze Medal in the Cadet Black belt Female category. On the other hand in Cadet Black Belt Male category Nishant Singh Hazari, Kaustav Sharma, Manash Jyoti Baruah managed to pick Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively.

In Under 30 Black Belt female category, Erin Nobis got Bronze.
