The Assam Cricket Association is going to introduce an annual award function from this year in which players will be felicitated with prizes and cash rewards for their performances at various level.
The inaugural annual award function of the ACA is scheduled for today evening at Barsapara Cricket Stadium.The chief minister of Assam Mr Sarbananda Sonowal will be the chief guest and health and education minister of the state Mr Himanta Biswa Sharma will be the guest of honor in today’s function.
During the event, Players who had excelled in the season 2019-20 will be awarded prizes and cash incentives for scoring a century and capturing 10 wickets in a match and 5 wicket in an innings.
The association will also introduce ‘Player of the Season Award’, Promising ‘Player of the Season Award’ and ‘Coach of the Season Award.
